  * designed as a standalone e-assessment system,
  * ability to exchange content, user data and components with other e-assessment systems,
  * pluggable into LMS (//learning management systems//), or other systems


===== Other requests =====

  * flexibility to include assessments based on different theories and models,
  * completeness of the supported assessment process,
  * reusability (identification, isolation and exchange) of useful objects (items, assessment plans)
  * medium neutrality (when possible, the system also supports paper and pencil tests)
